Fall Fun!

This week has made us realize that winter is fast approaching! It has been a gorgeous fall but the snow in the air on Monday reminded us of what is to come! Here are some pictures from this fall!

It doesn't have to be Halloween to wear costumes at our house...
I just love how he even put the buckle on by himself, a little crooked, but it's hanging on!!
The funny part about this picture is it was taken when there were about 30 coworkers/friends at our house for a fall party...because he is shy the costume was his way of "hiding."

We had a fall party Oct. 16th...lots of good fun, good people and an awesome fire to keep us all warm!

"Get the junk out Dad!"

Tanner Learned to Ride without Training Wheels!

This summer, Tanner learned to ride his bikes "like a big boy!" He doesn't care much for his pedal bike, he would rather ride his 4 wheeler, but at least he knows how. He gets bored pretty quick riding his bike in our driveway so most of the time we catch him going down the slope of the road to pick up some speed! He wrecks often when he does this but he seems to be more exhilarating for him! Sounds like a future dirt bike rider...watch out!!

School days...

Well, where to begin! Blogging skills have been lacking so a lot has happened. Both Trista and Tanner are back to school and love it (most days)! Trista is in kindergarten and Tanner is in preschool 2 days a week. I always assumed that Trista would be the child to tell me what goes on during the day, but she doesn't. She claims to forget most of what she does during the day. Tanner, on the other hand, is always telling us what he learns. He loves to ask us questions, here are some examples:

"Mom, do you know where apples come from?" Me: No, tell me
"They grow on trees and they can be red, green, yellow, or even orange!"
He always finishes with "I learned that at my school."

I think he is definitely proud to have some "school stories" himself and we love hearing all of them!

Much love! Melissa
